Blair Davenport called up to SmackDown

Another NXT wrestler gets the call, and gets emotional about it.

Here’s how round 10 of the 2024 WWE Draft played out:

1. Raw: The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, AOP, Scarlett, Paul Ellering)
2. SmackDown: DIY (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano)
3. Raw: Bronson Reed
4. SmackDown: Blair Davenport

The General Managers of both shows, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, were the ones to make the announcements of the final selections of this year’s Draft, or at least the televised portion.

There was yet another call up from NXT, and once again it was from the women’s division. This one was more of a surprise, as Blair Davenport got the call to move up to the blue brand. Michael Cole called her a “dark horse pick.” Like Lyra Valkyria before her, Davenport was incredibly emotional at being chosen.

Meanwhile, two teams switched sides, with Karrion Kross’ crew heading for the red brand while DIY is off to the blue brand hoping for more success there.
