BKFC KnuckleMania 4 results: Lorenzo Hunt suffers gruesome arm injury after Mick Terrill drops him in first round

Mick Terrill retained his heavyweight title after an uppercut put Lorenzo Hunt down in the opening round but it was a gruesome arm injury that actually ended their fight at BKFC KnuckleMania 4.

The fighters were swinging hard and heavy as soon as the action got started but Terrill definitely showed of his size advantage over the former cruiserweight and middleweight BKFC champion.

Terrill scored a beautiful uppercut that snapped Hunt’s head back and he fell to the canvas in awkward fashion with his arm basically behind his back. As soon as Hunt hit the ground, he pointed to his arm and it was clear that he suffered a dislocated elbow from the fall.

The fight was stopped immediately with the end coming at 1:48 in the opening round.

“Obviously, Lorenzo broke his arm there. I won and that’s great,” Terrill said afterward. “I like Lorenzo. But I did drop him with the uppercut when he broke his arm.”

Hunt was understandably disappointed, especially after he was trying to become the first ever three-division champion in BKFC history. Hunt has been a constant presence in BKFC almost since the start but the injury on Saturday ended his attempt at becoming heavyweight champion.

“I wasn’t hurt really bad, I could have got up and kept fighting,” Hunt said. “My arm dislocated. I didn’t work out for my tonight. Every division is still on notice. You guys will see me again soon.”
