Aryna Sabalenka talked for the first time about Konstantin Koltsov, her former partner and former Belarusian ice hockey player.
The Belarusian, through an Instagram story, asked for respect for the privacy of all the people involved in this tragedy.
“Konstantin’s death is an unthinkable tragedy and, even though we were no longer together, I am heartbroken. Please respect my privacy and that of his family during this difficult time,” she wrote.

Sabalenka has decided to take to the court for the WTA 1000 in Miami where tomorrow, in the second round, she will challenge her best friend Paula Badosa.
Many fans and insiders welcomed Sabalenka’s choice with surprise.

Koltsov’s death
Through a statement, the Belarusian Federation announced the sudden death of Koltsov – who was in Miami – at the age of 42.
The causes of death have not yet been ascertained, but Miami police spoke of an alleged suicide. The police department told CNN that firefighters and patrol were asked to reach the St. Regis Bal Harbor Resort, 9703 Collins Avenue, to rescue a man who jumped from a balcony.
