Apex Legends Map Rotation – What Maps are in-Game?

on

If you want to make sure you can always play your favorite map, you’ll need to learn about the Apex Legends map rotation. This is the system that decides which maps are in play. They rotate different locales in and out every day. This is a major change from most other Battle Royales, but it helps to make sure no part of Apex gets forgotten about for too long.

The Apex Legends map rotation system was first introduced a few seasons ago, a system where different maps can pop up frequently. We can look at the map rotation to see when you can play each mode. There are different options for different modes. Like standard pubs, Mixtape, and even Ranked. The maps in use for Apex Legends esports aren’t the same as random Trios games.

You can always check out the maps in custom games, but if you want to play live rounds with a whole lobby, you’ll have to stick to those in the Apex Legends map rotation.

This is how the Apex Legends map rotation works this season and when you can play your favorite spots.

The current season of Apex Legends has quite a few different maps in rotation. Over the course of a few days, you’ll be able to see three different ones. In Season 20 of Apex Legends, there are:

  • Broken Moon
  • Storm Point
  • Olympus

Each of these will be active at one time during the season. We’ve seen World’s Edge updated this season, but it isn’t in the standard pubs map rotation. That’s saved for Apex Legends Ranked mode. There’s a slightly different selection for each.

These are the Ranked mode options this season.
