Andrade and Charlotte Flair Trademark Former Ring Names

Late last week Luke Harper had trademarked his former in-ring name Brodie Lee, and now Charlotte Flair and Andrade are doing the same. Flair trademarked the nickname “The Queen of Wrestling” and Ashley Flair, while Andrade trademarked “La Sombra” and “El Idolo.” Charlotte Flair used the name Ashley during her time in the indies, dating all the way back to when she was 14 and made an on-camera appearance during Ric Flair’s feud with Vince Russo in WCW. Her real name is Ashley, but she added Flair like her father. Andrade used the name La Sombra during his time in CMLL and NJPW.

Charlotte applied to trademark ‘Ashley Flair’ and ‘The Queen of Wrestling’ for:

Andrade applied to trademark ‘La Sombra’ and ‘El Idolo’ for:

IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.
