The big right tackle from Georgia called it a “blessing” to play with the former LSU star.

Amarius Mims is a big man. Big arms, big shoulders, big legs.

But apparently, he also has a big heart.

The right tackle from Georgia, who was just drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the Draft, shared the emotions that ran through him after finding out he’d get to block for quarterback Joe Burrow.

“It’s just wild because just watching Joe Burrow at LSU I was like, ’Oh my god. I would love to block for him one day,’ and now that I have the chance to, it’s a blessing, man,” Mims said.

Now it appears that the giant human is a bit starstruck.

”I just look forward to getting in and talking to him. It’s almost like a little kid, getting to be around somebody you look up to at quarterback and say, ’You’re one of those guys in college for me who I’d love to play with and block for. Love to play for this guy,’” he said.

That’s precisely the kind of attitude you want from the guy tasked with keeping the most important player on the team upright.
