Alexander Hammerstone delivers emotional promo in final MLW appearance

on

Alexander Hammerstone has been the subject of the rumor mill regarding his future. The former MLW world heavyweight champion is exiting the promotion to become a free agent on January 1, 2024. Hammerstone graced the MLW ring one final time for a grudge match, and he delivered an emotional promo.

Hammerstone battled Jacob Fatu in the main event of MLW’s Holiday Rush special. Hammer went out on his back putting over his rival as Fatu was victorious. Afterward, Hammerman grabbed the microphone to speak with the fans.

Despite recent frustration with MLW, Hammerstone was grateful for the opportunity they gave him. MLW took a kid that nobody else wanted. Hammerstone had tryouts for WWE, Impact, and Lucha Underground, but they all passed on him. Court Bauer saw something special in Hammerstone and signed him to a three-year contract. Before the deal was up, Bauer increased Hammer’s pay tenfold. His relationship with MLW hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, but they took him in to mold into a superstar. Hammerstone proudly acknowledged that he is the guy that MLW built. Hammer closed by putting the focus back on the locker room as the wheel keeps turning developing MLW’s future.

That was a classy way for Hammerstone to conclude his time with MLW.
