450 RACE RESULTS // 2024 DAYTONA SUPERCROSS

The 450 class is ready to go racing in Daytona. Cooper Webb carried his momentum from his win in Arlington into the qualifying session earlier today in Daytona by taking the pole position. Eli Tomac was also very fast and is looking to take his eighth win on the world-famous speedway. Jett Lawrence was fifth fastest but still maintains the points lead heading into the evening. Weather will play a big role as earlier that track became very wet and rutted. If the rain continues through the evening it will make for very challenging conditions on the track. 450 HEAT 1 RESULTS

Ken Roczen wins heat one!

Ken Roczen just grabbed the holeshot in the first 450 heat only to go down half a lap later. He would hand the lead over to Justin Barcia on the GasGas machine. Surprisingly Benny Bloss was upfront in second on the Beta 450 but would quickly lose the position to Roczen who was making his way back up to the front. Chase Sexton would follow Roczen and move into the second position. About a lap later, both of the riders would make the pass on Barcia moving into first and second. Roczen who was down on the first lap wasted no time getting himself back out front and he was able to maintain the position for the win.

Justin Barcia was able to lead a few laps and did look comfortable on the tough track.
