Chase Sexton won his fourth AMA 450 Superross of the season with a solid charged from the halfway point on to reel in a cautiously riding Eli Tomac. Chase is now second in the 450 title chase, 18 points behind Eli Tomac. Cooper Webb suffered a devastating blow to the head from the front wheel of Adam Cianciarulo’s KX450. Cooper Webb went to the hospital to be examined before being released. Equally downtrodden, Justin Barcia crashed over the Dragonback and left the track holding his collarbone.
In the penultimate round of the 250 East series, Team Honda’s Hunter Lawrence was picture-perfect to earn the points he needed to seal his first Monster Energy AMA 250 Regional Supercross Championship.
