I asked the following question last week-

Which of the starters who were lost either via free agency or by being cut would you like to see the Miami Dolphins draft a long-term replacement for in this year’s draft? Which of the players lost do you see as the priority to replace sooner rather than later?

Below are some of your answers-

David. PBC doesn’t see a need to replace Wilkins and instead would like to go with an offensive lineman in the first.

We don’t need to replace Wilkins with someone of his caliber. We signed like 5 DT’s already. If I were Grier this would be the plan.

Trade down with SF 10 spots from 21 to 31 for picks #94 #135 , & 2025 5th Rd.

1. #31 Graham Barton, OT/G/C, Duke

2. #55 Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan

3. #94 Zak Zinter, G, Michigan

4. #135 Grayson Murphy, DE, UCLA

5. #158 Evan Williams, S, Oregon

6. #184 Eric Watts, DE, Connecticut

6. #198 T’Vondre Sweat*, NT, Texas

7. #241. Ryan Cooper, CB, Oregon State

edwinpena wants the Phins to trade down and go after offensive line help. I am with him on that move, well both of them…

Think Phins trade down to like 26, 27. Barton is still there and they take him, or JPJ. Either help to fix this offensive line. Maybe Connor Williams comes back mid year or so on a 1 year ‘prove it’ deal and adds help. Take best available DT at 55. Maybe T. Sweat is there ? Take him as Newton and Murphy will be gone by then. Remember Tunsil smoking that bong ? Turned out pretty good. Sweat could be another Tim Bowens in the middle. With the additional pick from the trade down (3rd rounder ?) grab the best available WR, and boom ! There you go, a great draft. Barton replaces Hunt, Sweat and the other like 5 DT’s (2 maybe survive) signed by Grier replace Wilkins, R. Davis. As far as the others: Poyer > B. Jones, Fuller > X, Brooks and Barrett > Gink, Baker. Ogbah ? I wouldn’t be surprised if he returns on a cheapy deal, he is still out there. The newly drafted WR & EZ E > C. Wilson and the useless duo of Claypool and Chosen. Given what Grier was facing with all the FA losses and cap issues, this is a pretty darn good comeback. A better December by Tua (he was turrible as Barkley says) with a little luck injury wise and this new team with the 3 picks added at OL, DT, WR, IMO will be better than last year’s.

Krammm is possibly right. Another point is that most of those signings were for little money and only a year or two, like what you would sign a guy to if you saw him as a short-term bridge guy.

The accumulation of DT’s and O linemen has set the Dolphins up to potentially pick anybody.

I still don’t think Grier will draft a guard/center in the 1st round. A tackle that could play guard for a year maybe. I wouldn’t mind OT/Mimms/Georgia as our 1st pick. Potentially the best pure OT in the draft. He is huge and if your going to draft someone in the 1st round they should be a potential Hall of Famer.

If DT’s Murphy or Newton are available in the 1st they could be an improvement over Wilkins.

I personally think this time of year is better than the season.

Bull Pupp thinks someone is on the juice…

Mel Kiper with Jaden Verse to Miami at 21??? Verse was 214 and now 254 after transfering in an body fat went down ? Sounds a little PEDs

As usual in the offseason, the question-of-the-day thread was quite slow, and I got very few answers. I know the questions are not that great, but I have all but run out of things to ask, so here we are. Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer the question. Join us again tomorrow evening for our Victory Of The Week post.
