WWE RAW Sees Big Drop In the Third Hour, Viewership Down and Key Demo Rating Up This Week

Monday’s live edition of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.536 million viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is down 7.91% from last week’s 1.668 million viewers for the post-Survivor Series show.

For this week’s show, the first hour drew 1.748 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 1.951 million), the second hour drew 1.596 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 1.619 million) and the final hour drew 1.263 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 1.433 million).

Monday’s RAW drew a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up 2.50% from last week’s 0.40 key demo rating. The 0.41 key demo rating represents 535,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 1.71% from the 526,000 18-49 viewers that last week’s 0.40 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

RAW ranked #6 for the night on the Cable Top 150 with the 0.41 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is even with last week’s #6 ranking. The NFL Monday Night Football game between the Saints and the Buccaneers on ESPN at 8:13pm topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with a 2.72 key demo rating. The game also topped the night on cable in viewership with 10.131 million.

RAW ranked #21 for the night in viewership on cable this week, behind the Saints vs. Bucs NFL game on ESPN, Monday Night Kickoff on ESPN, Monday Night Post-game on ESPN, The Five, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Jesse Watters Primetime, Special Report with Bret Baier, Hannity, Rachel Maddow Show, Gutfeld!, Sportscenter at midnight, The Ingraham Angle, America’s Newsroom at 9am, America’s Newsroom at 10am, Outnumbered, 90 Day Single Life, Last Word, The Faulkner Focus, FOX & Friends at 8am, and Beat with Ari Melber. This is down from last week’s #14 ranking for the night in viewership on cable.

Monday’s RAW drew the fourth-lowest total audience of the year so far, and the sixth-lowest key demo rating of the year so far, tied with two other episodes. This was the lowest total audience since the Halloween show on October 31. This week’s hour 3 viewership of 1.263 million viewers was the lowest viewership for an hour of RAW in the history of the show, and down 20.86% from the second hour. RAW had strong competition from Week 13 of NFL Monday Night Football this week as the Saints vs. Bucs game drew around 21.5 million viewers on ESPN and ESPN2, including the related programs. Additional sports competition included one NBA game on NBA-TV, and one Women’s College Soccer game on ESPNU. This week’s RAW viewership was down 7.91% from last week’s episode, while this week’s key demo rating was up 2.50% from last week.

Monday’s RAW viewership was down 4% from the same week in 2021, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 17.14% from the same week in 2021.

Monday’s WWE RAW aired live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – Bayley vs. Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley to determine next week’s #1 contender’s match participant, WWE Hall of Famer JBL hosting a high-stakes invitational poker tournament, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos defending against Elias and Matt Riddle, plus Nikki Cross vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch to determine the second entrant for next week’s #1 contender’s match, which was last night’s main event.
