Tony Khan brought Darby Allin and his flamethrower to attack The Elite

Throughout the May 22 episode of Dynamite, the last one before Sunday’s Double or Nothing PPV, AEW EVPs Matthew & Nicholas Jackson made sure everyone — from their hired security goons to the viewers at home — knew that Darby Allin was banned from the building.

Dynamite’s announce team spent about as much time letting us know that Allin was in town for the show. So when the night’s main event between Darby’s Team AEW partner Bryan Danielson and Satnam Singh predictably turned into two separate group beatdowns (first by Singh and his running buddies Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal, then by The Elite)…

…we knew it was only a matter of time before Dangerous Darbs showed up.

We didn’t know how he’d arrive, though. Rather than wear a disguise to evade The Bucks’ ban, Allin appealed to a higher power — AEW owner Tony Khan. Making his first live appearance on AEW television since The Elite took him out on Dynamite last month, Khan drove Darby to Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California, getting him around security.

Allin wasn’t the only thing that made it past security. So did his FLAMETHROWER! He didn’t torch anyone, but it unnerved The Elite enough to allow Danielson to send Nicholas off the ramp and through a table on the floor.

Four days ahead of their Anarchy at the Arena battle at Double or Nothing, Tony Khan helped Team AEW get the upperhand on The Elite.
