Tiger Woods has chosen Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner as his teammates in the TGL, a new golf league centered around technology. Founded by the Californian champion and Rory McIlroy, the league is set to kick off in January 2025. In the team led by the 15-time Major champion, co-owner, and captain of the Jupiter Links, the standout player will undoubtedly be Homa, the world number 9 with whom “The Big Cat” played the first two rounds of The Masters 2024.

“I’ve already shared my excitement and optimism for the TGL as a championship and product. Now that our roster has been finalized, I am even more confident that this group will set a benchmark for many,” Woods stated.

“Tiger Woods is one of the main reasons I became a passionate golfer. I remember watching him triumph at the 1997 Masters, and now being able to play alongside him is something fantastic,” expressed Homa with satisfaction.

Eldrick Tont Woods, better known as Tiger Woods, born on December 30, 1975, in Cypress, is an American golfer.

Regarded by many as the greatest golfer of all time, as well as the best of the modern era, Woods has amassed an illustrious career spanning over two decades. He has won 110 professional tournaments, including 15 major championships, making him the most decorated player in golf history. Woods held the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking for a total of 683 weeks, including 281 consecutive weeks from June 12, 2005, to October 30, 2010. He is the only golfer to have won all four major tournaments of the modern era within a single year, achieving this feat between 2000 and 2001.

In 2014, Woods became the first athlete in the world to surpass one billion dollars in earnings from victories and sponsorships. While he was later surpassed by Michael Jordan, his wealth is estimated at $1.8 billion as of 2023, making him the second highest-paid athlete of all time. In 2019, United States President Donald Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States.

Tiger Woods’ legacy transcends the sport of golf, leaving an indelible mark on the world of athletics and inspiring generations of athletes to come.
