It’s finally here! Unfortunately there was a little rain on our parade!
The NFL Draft is like Christmas for football fans. Free agency isn’t televised. You don’t get to experience it, you only get to read about it or talk about it with your friends. The draft is something you get to watch unfold before you. It’s the closest thing we get to football until the preseason begins.
Who will the Cincinnati Bengals select at No. 18 tonight?
That’s what Kevin and I were going to talk about on Three and Out this week. That was until Trey Hendrickson decided to rain on our parade by requesting a trade that would surely not get him anywhere. So that’s what we talked about for a few minutes first.
Then, we turned our attention to the draft. We discussed what positions were most likely to be selected with the No. 18 overall pick and who that player might be.
Finally, we had an interesting discussion on the Bengals’ recent draft strategy and whether selecting players who they don’t play to use very much in their rookie season is helpful or not.
