In the grip of serious financial problems, Barça is working to restore the balance of its equity by 2024-2025. To do this, several options are being studied, starting with a collective wage cut. This Friday, Report indicates that the management of the Blaugrana club could urge the entire Catalan workforce to make financial efforts.

Already obliged to reduce its payroll by around 180 M€ to respect the La Liga ceiling, Barça is indeed facing another major problem. With the relocation of its matches to the Montjuic stadium next season, the Catalan club could suffer losses of up to €100 million. For this reason, President Joan Laporta would consider asking for a collective reduction in wages, which in some cases could also result in a postponement.
