The LET Access season ends in Zaragoza

The LET Access season ends with the Santander Golf Tour – Zaragoza scheduled from 26 to 28 October (54 holes) on the course of the Real Club de Golf La Penaza, in Zaragoza, Spain, where four Italians will be competing: Erika De Martini , Alessia Fornara, Marta Spiazzi and Caterina Tatti.

The LET Access, schedule

It is the event in which the six ‘cards’ for the Ladies European Tour 2024 are assigned to the top six classified in the money list, among which four are now safe from surprises, starting with the Danish Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen, number one, authentic dominating the tour who in thirteen races played achieved three successes (the last in the Lombardy Ladies Open at the Varese Golf Club), three second places and never made the cut.

She is followed by the Swiss Chiara Tamburlini, by the English Emily Price, absent from the top ten on the only occasion, and by the other Swiss Elena Moosmann. The English Gemma Clews (n. 5) runs relative risks, while the chase will be made by the English Hannah Screen, who reached sixth place with her success in the previous Calatayud Ladies Open. She will have to watch out for the Slovenian Katja Pogacar (n. 7), only four points behind, while the Danish Puk Lyng Thomsen (n. 8), to accomplish the feat must finish fourth at most, but also depending on the position of Screen . The latter, Pogacar and Thomsen are also the only stars capable of knocking out Clews with a series of combinations whereby she could be overtaken by two of them at the same time.

Six other players can still aspire to the ‘card’: the Austrian Katharina Muehlbauer, only by winning or coming second, and the five who follow her, but only by winning the title. It is also important to finish in the order of merit from seventh to 20th place as you acquire the right to directly access the final of the LET Qualifying School (Al Maaden Golf Marrakech & Royal Golf Marrakech, Morocco, 16-20 December, 90 holes). The prize money is 40,000 euros with the first coin of 6,400 euros.
