The PGA Tour stops at some of the most exclusive golfing locations in North America, but not all the courses featured will break the bank for the average golfer.
Here we look at six PGA Tour venues that have reasonably budget-friendly fees.
6. TPC Deere Run
“It has all the things I think you’d like to have in a golf course,” says designer D.A. Weibring.
“There are elevation changes, great views and scenery, hardwood trees. You have the Rock River complemented with small ponds and deep ravines… and best of all, there’s no real estate. What’s more, the natural features of the former Arabian horse farm high above the Rock River Valley have not been compromised.”
Every year at the John Deere Classic, the risk-reward course at TPC Deere Run presents an extreme test to some of the best names in golf.

5. Innisbrook – Copperhead
Copperhead is the jewel among Innisbrook’s four courses.
The best golfers in the world, including those who have won and lost tournaments, love it since it is the home of the PGA TOUR’s yearly Valspar Championship.
This course perfectly combines beauty and challenge with its rolling landscape and fairways surrounded by pine trees.
While attempting to stay clear of the lake and pond water risks, players can observe the local fauna. At more than 7,200 yards, it’s a difficult test for even the longest hitters.

4. Grand Reserve Golf Club
Notably different from courses most American players will be familiar with, Grand Reserve Golf Club stands out as the leader of Puerto Rican golf.
The Puerto Rico Open, which began in 2008 and has attracted thousands of spectators and hundreds of professional golfers, has been a platform for big success for many players on the PGA Tour.
The peak green fee at Grand Reserve Golf Club is $225 plus tax.
3. Torrey Pines – North
Renowned golf course architect Tom Weiskopf spearheaded a $12.6million renovation and redesign of the North Course in 2016.
In addition to having bigger greens and fewer bunkers than previously, the North Course has flipped the order of its front and back nine holes, allowing players to conclude their rounds with an unobstructed view of the famed ocean vistas.
Torrey Pines hosts the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open.
At the time of writing the peak green fees at Torrey Pines North are $185 per person.
2. TPC San Antonio – Oaks
With Sergio Garcia serving as a consultant, Greg Norman created the Oaks course, which is highly tournament friendly despite reflecting the Tour’s move away from the large grass fields and spectator mounds of the current tournament-style course.
The Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour is held at the Oaks course.
Peak green fees at the Oaks TPC San Antonio are currently hovering around the $185 mark.
1. Memorial Park Golf Course
Each year, Memorial Park Golf Course welcomes over 60,000 visitors and is regarded as one of the top municipal golf courses in the country.
Originally designed as a nine-hole course with sand greens for troops recovering from illness, the course was constructed next to Camp Logan’s hospital (1912). John Bredemus, the creator of the golf course, renovated it in 1935 when the hospital closed.
The course hosts the Houston Open, a stop on the PGA Tour.
The $140 peak green fees at Memorial Park Golf Course make it the most reasonably priced round at a PGA Tour course.
