Las Vegas has toughest schedule in AFC West

We are expected to learn the exact dates of the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2024 schedule in the coming weeks.

When it is released, it will be the layout of what is, on paper at the moment, one of the most difficult slates in the league.

According to Pro Football Network, the Raiders will have the 10th toughest schedule in the league this season. According to their calculations, the Raiders have the toughest schedule of all four AFC West team. Plus, the Los Angeles Chargers have the the second easiest schedule in the league while the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have the 10th easiest schedule.

The good news is seven of the nine teams with tougher schedules than the Raiders are in the AFC, so that could help in the playoff chase.

And the truth is, no matter what pre-season schedule ranking are, things change once the season begins based on teams that are both both better and worse than expected and because of how injuries impact rosters.

So, this is simply a projection.
