Just try getting Madd Maxx off the field
There is so much to like and appreciate about the game of Las Vegas Raiders’ superstar pass-rusher Maxx Crosby.
Yet, perhaps the most impressive part of Crosby’s game is that the dude simply never leaves the field. He always plays and it’s very rare for a defensive end to stay on the field as much as Crosby does.
Look at these stats supplied by a recent tweet by The Associated Press;
Crosby played in 95.3% of #Raiders defensive snaps, the most of any defensive lineman. Aidan Hutchinson was 2nd at 90.4%. The only DL to play at least 95% of snaps in last 6 seasons:
Maxx Crosby 95.3% 2023
Maxx Crosby 96.2% 2022 https://t.co/7f6poNB0p4— Josh Dubow (@JoshDubowAP) January 8, 2024
Crosby playing 1,079 snaps is just crazy and the fact that no defensive lineman has played that many snaps in 10 years in the NFL says a lot about this player.
He simply refuses not to be on the field. He played in 100 percent of the snaps in 10 games this season. Wow. He’s so special.
