Washington quarterback may be the right guy
Washington quarterback Michael Penix had a great 2023 season and he has followed it up with a strong draft season as he excelled at the NFL Combine and at his pro day.
Yet, the speculation of his draft startus has been all over the place.
Despite his great season, Penix entered the draft season not considered a top prospect. Yet, after his pro day, Penix’s arrow seems to be rising.
He could easily be the pick of the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 13. The Minnesota Vikings, who pick at No. 11, and the Denver Broncos, No. 12, could also take Penix.

There is so much to like about this prospect and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is, indeed, a top draft pick next week.
