The Seattle Seahawks (6-7) are desperate for a win to stay attached in the NFC playoff picture, while the Philadelphia Eagles (10-3) are similarly desperate for a win to keep hope alive of getting the No. 1 seed for a second straight season. Seattle has lost four straight, while Philly has dropped two lopsided games to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. A win for the Seahawks would be a huge boost to their postseason chances, while an Eagles win puts them a game ahead of the Cowboys in the division and on the cusp of another NFC East title. The big storyline concerning the quarterbacks has been whether or not Geno Smith (groin) or Jalen Hurts (illness) would play. They’re both active but only Hurts is certain to start tonight.
