Brooks headed to the sideline with assistance following an injury

Jordyn Brooks came up limping after pulling a spin move on a blitz against the Tennessee Titans o-line. The Seattle Seahawks linebacker left the field with assistance from trainers and headed straight to the blue medical tent for further evaluation. Apparently, the injury was to his ankle, and he is officially listed as questionable according to the team PR account.

The initial injury didn’t receiver much attention, as it came on the same play that Quandre Diggs was penalized for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Treylon Burks. On rewatching, Brooks appeared to pull up with an injury following relatively minimal contact. It wasn’t a “non-contact” injury, but anything like this can be concerning. Without Brooks, the Seahawks have Devin Bush in at linebacker. Jon Rhattigan and Nick Bellore are emergency options as well, although that is clearly not the ideal situation against a team that likes to run the ball. Stay tuned for further updates.
