Rumors for the Day:
- Despite how the spot looked during the match with Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown, Wrestling Observer Radio says Cody Rhodes did not suffer any injury to his shoulder or otherwise.
- Per the Observer, Tony Khan did the angle where he was taken out in part so he could appear with a neck brace at the NFL Draft as a publicity stunt.
- Despite being drafted to Monday Night Raw, Fightful Select notes that Dijak has yet to sign a new contract with WWE or even been approached about as much. There is a belief he will do so, however.
- Fightful says Scrypts will be departing WWE on June 1 when his contract expires. The company chose not to try to sign him to a new deal.
- They also say Mike Rome will be working NXT now.
