On the occasion of his 37th birthday, Rohit Sharma, the former skipper of the Mumbai Indians (MI), ushered in the moment by gathering with his wife and friends in the MI camp for a midnight celebration. The MI management also posted a video on social media paying tribute to the phenomenal cricketer.

Amidst an outpouring of warm wishes from fellow cricketers, sports commentators and prominent personalities, the most poignant message came from none other than his better half, Ritika Sajdeh.

Ritika expressed her love and birthday wishes for the Indian batter on Instagram. Referring to Rohit as her beloved, she described him as her favourite person and expressed how much brighter her world becomes with him in it. She concluded her message by wishing the Indian captain that all his dreams come true.

After years of friendship, Rohit and Ritika exchanged vows in Mumbai on December 13, 2015. Before their marriage, Ritika pursued a career as a sports manager. Presently, she dedicates herself to managing Rohit’s professional endeavours, offering steadfast support in every aspect of his cricketing journey. Their joy multiplied when their daughter, Samaira Sharma, was born on December 30, 2018, adding another dimension of happiness to their lives.
