ROH TV results: Kyle Fletcher wants to be all-time greatest TV champ

on

ROH’s X

Episode 45 of ROH TV on Honor Club featured Kyle Fletcher’s first defense of the ROH World Television Championship. The Aussie has big shoes to fill with Samoa Joe as the last champion holding the title for 574 days. The quest to be the greatest started with an open challenge.

Willie Mack answered the call to break a foot off in Fletcher’s ass. Hot Chocolate started strong with a Macarena moonsault. Fletcher rallied with a brainbuster. Mack was back on the attack for a buckle bomb. When he applied a cloverleaf submission, Fletcher reached the ropes for the break. The champ turned the tide with an avalanche Michinoku driver. When Fletcher had trouble on a hammerlock lift, he adjusted for a straight piledriver to win.

Fletcher’s first TV title defense is in the books. His reign currently stands at 20 days and counting.

Lance Archer defeated JP Harlow. Domination victory via Blackout.

Dalton Castle defeated Peter Avalon. The peacock was low energy without sleep since Johnny TV getting in his business, but he still managed to win via Bangarang. Backstage, Castle had a run-in with Johnny. Taya Valkyrie will not permit Castle to smash the face of her beautiful husband.

Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty defeated the Infantry and the Boys. Taylor’s power was the game changer in the three-way tag en route to victory via Marcus Garvey Driver.
