Raw ratings come back to earth, but do give WWE a win over Caitlin Clark

After the eye-popping numbers for the previous Monday’s Raw After WrestleMania, a week-to-week decline was expected for WWE’s Monday night show. And those expectations were realized.

According to Wrestlenomics, the April 15 Raw averaged 1,807,000 viewers per hour. That’s 24% fewer than April 7, but not counting last week it’s the show’s biggest audience since February. The 18-49 year old demographic dropped more than 25%, but the .61 is also the red brand’s best in about two months — and better than what they were doing the same week in 2023.

That rating was also good enough to secure the top spot on Monday’s cable charts for WWE and USA. Raw beat ESPN’s coverage of the WNBA Draft (where ratings machine Caitlin Clark was taken first overall), which did a .58 in the demo off of total viewership of 2.45 million. SportsMediaWatch reports that’s biggest audience any WNBA event’s had since 2000.

We’ll see how Raw holds up as WrestleMania gets farther into the rearview… and as they begin facing the NBA and NHL Playoffs next Monday. Until then, here’s a rundown of the past year’s worth for Raw:
