The Rams had a lot of help from undrafted free agents in 2023
The Los Angeles Rams added 16 undrafted free agents on Thursday, making official the agreements we came to hear about on Saturday and Sunday after the draft was over. The group includes 10 defensive players and six offensive players, including five defensive backs, three defensive linemen, and two linebackers.

Several past undrafted free agents had significant roles on the Rams in 2023, including linebacker Christian Rozeboom, edge rusher Michael Hoecht, defensive end Jonah Williams, and left tackle A.J. Jackson.
Any of these players could have starting roles in the future, although most won’t be on the team after this year and the main goal here is to make the practice squad and hang on long enough to find a way like Rozeboom did.
