An international boxing event will be featured on November 11 at the 60th Annual Convention of the World Boxing Council in Acapulco, Mexico.

The promoters Can’t Play Boxeo Promotions, No Boxing No Life, Mundo Imperial, Round Zero and Borizteca Boxing organize and present at the GNP Seguros Arena, the official function of the 60th Annual Convention, which will be free for all fans.

The star fight of the function will be between the Mexicans “Perita” Escobedo (10-3-1, 4 KOs) and Cabrera (12-1, 9 KOs) for the WBC International Light Championship. Jonathan arrives with a two-game winning streak, against an opponent who arrives with a spirit of revenge, after losing his unbeaten pace in professionalism in June.

On the same night will be in the ring the Guatemalan Lester Martinez, the American David Alaverdian and the Russian Valerii Oganisian, who will face Mexican rivals.

Lester Martinez (13-0, 11 KOs) will face Fabian Rios (7-5-3, 4 KOs), eight rounds in the middleweight.

David Alaverdian (6-0, 5 KOs) will face Geovanny Meza (4-0-1, 4 KOs), six rounds away at flyweight; while Russia’s Oganisian (5-0, 3 KOs) against Mahatma Garcia (1-1, 1 KO), in six-round super lightweight.

There will also be women’s activity with a fight between the Mexicans, Maria “Polvorita” Salinas (25-8-5) and Esmeralda “Pelusa” Gaona (7-4-1), six rounds in the flyweight division.

Knockout Saulo “Tren” Morales (9-1, 8 KOs) and Romario Ovalle (10-4, 6 KOs) will fight 8 rounds at middleweight, and Juan “Pollo” Toscano (10-3, 2 KOs) will face Jesus “Chikilin” Cadena (3-4-1), 6 rounds in mini-flyweight.

The function will have a plus, as the Tijuana singer Javier Munguía will be present, who is the uncle of boxer Jaime Munguía and who has sung the Mexican National Anthem in fights of the former world super welterweight champion.
