Surveying fan opinions on the Panthers draft value
The Carolina Panthers had a wild draft weekend where they somehow walked out of it having made 1) a pick in a every round—including, somehow, in the first round; 2) only one of their own original picks; and 3) a trade that netted them a 2025 2nd round pick from the Los Angeles Rams. Objectively, they made some pretty good trade decisions, a couple questionable ones, and made it out of the draft with a greater wealth in picks than they entered with. The biggest controversy amongst fans is, as always, over just who the Panthers selected with those picks.
Ask two fans and you’ll get two different answers on whether or not Xavier Legette, Jonathon Brooks, or Trevin Wallace were reaches at their draft position or are bonafide stars in the making.
So let’s see where the fanbase as a whole sits on that with two quick questions:
