Thursday Night Football (on Saturday afternoon) in Week 18 brings us an important game in the AFC between the Ravens and the Steelers, although one of the two may resting their starters. Read on for our picks and predictions.

Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season is here! Our Atlanta Falcons fell flat on their faces in a Week 17 blowout loss to the Chicago Bears, leading to renewed criticism of coach Arthur Smith and the offense. Still, the team is technically alive in the playoffs, and could clinch the NFC South with a victory over the New Orleans Saints this week and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers loss to the Carolina Panthers.

What will Week 18 have for us? Things kick off with today’s Thursday Night Football (on Saturday afternoon) matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.

Let’s get right to tonight’s pick, which I’ll be making on a straight moneyline (aka picking the winner) basis. I’ll still provide the information on the spread and over/under, for those interested. At the bottom, I’ll show the rest of the staff’s picks for the game.

All odds are taken from DraftKings Sportsbook and are subject to change. See the current odds here.

Thursday Night Football (on Saturday afternoon): Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7) at Baltimore Ravens (13-3)

The pick: Steelers (-192)

Spread: Steelers -4 | Over/Under: 35 | Moneyline: Steelers -192, Ravens +160

This game lost a lot of its luster with the Steelers being rather lackluster and the Ravens locking up the AFC’s top seed last week against the Dolphins. As a result, Baltimore is expected to rest the majority of their starters in Week 18. That’ll lead to Pittsburgh having an excellent chance to improve to 10-7 on the season, and improve their chances of winning a Wild Card spot. Still, even the Ravens backups might not be easy to beat. I’m still fairly confident in Pittsburgh to get this done.
