Daniel Riolo does not mince his words with regard to certain Parisian players. The journalist thinks in particular that Neymar is making fun of PSG. He explains himself.

Aged 31 and much criticized last summer, Neymar made a big start to the season. The Brazilian has so far scored 17 goals and 15 assists in 25 games in all competitions. The media underlined the level of his performances and considered that he had regained a physical condition worthy of that which he had when he arrived in Paris. Daniel Riolo relativizes however.

“We understood that he was preparing for the World Cup”

At the microphone ofAfter Foot, the journalist gave his opinion on his performance at the start of the season. The Brazilian was preparing, according to him, for the World Cup: “There is a sort of tacit pact. Campos has just arrived. Obviously, it happened in a context presented as a revolution. He went to see Neymar and he said to him “given the season you have just had, it’s not good at all and the gap has widened even more with the people here. Let’s try to have a great season together and let’s forget all that. He had an interesting first few months and we understood that he was preparing for the World Cup, and not for PSG, which he doesn’t care about like his last flip-flop.he blurted out RMC Sports.

A few days ago, Luis Campos spoke about the Brazilian’s situation and insisted that the player has been exemplary since his arrival. Since his return from the World Cup, Neymar has played 5 games. The former Barcelonan scored 2 goals and delivered 1 assist. He also received 3 yellow cards and 1 red card. The striker should notably take part in the Clasico scheduled for the Coupe de France, this Wednesday.
