Good morning Gang Green Nation! Aaron Rodgers dropped an interesting bread crumb the other day, suggesting he and fourth string tight end Zach Kuntz had developed some good chemistry while Rodgers was running the scout team as he attempted to return to the field after tearing his achilles tendon last season. Ordinarily a fourth string tight end who failed to make the team after he was drafted last year isn’t something to get excited about, but Kuntz is such a freakish athlete that perhaps the Jets might be able to develop him into a useful player on offense. With the tight end room beyond Tyler Conklin not exactly overwhelming in their NFL careers thus far, there might be an opening for Kuntz to carve out a role, and Aaron Rodgers singing his praises certainly can’t hurt Kuntz’ prospects.
