According to the Wrestling Observer, there was a possibility that ROH would work with WWE and book stars Oney Lorcan and Mike Kanellis (Bennett) for future events. The two companies have made deals in the past such as ROH providing footage for documentaries like the Nigel McGuinness network special. Reports are that ROH’s relationship with NJPW is the biggest reason that the only agreements between the two have been video licensing. Since asking for his release, Kanellis has done everything WWE has asked of him, while Lorcan remains very active on social media. Whether ROH’s recent bad press from the Kelly Klein situation effected an alliance remains to be seen.
