The final game of Week 15 in the NFL features the Philadelphia Eagles visiting the Seattle Seahawks.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook the Eagles are 3.5-point favorites.

This is an open thread for game chat.

Let’s see how the BTB staff picked the game.

Here are their thoughts on why they made their pick.

Dave Halprin: Much depends on the status of Seattle QB Geno Smith, but Drew Lock is a decent backup. The Eagles are beat up and will be without Darius Slay, weakening an already bad secondary. Seattle is a tough place to play, so I’m taking the upset, 27-20.

RJ Ochoa: It definitely does not feel impossible that Seattle could steal this one, but right now it is hard to imagine anything going the Cowboys way. I would be somewhat stunned if Philly dropped three games in a row so I’ll take them to outlast Seattle here.

Matt Holleran: Even with Jalen Hurts at less then 100% it’s hard to see the Eagles losing three games in a row. They are too talented of a team to have that happen and I think they turn things around tonight. It might not be super pretty, but the Eagles get a much-needed win. Give me Philly, 26-20.

Tom Ryle: I’m going to try and apply my normal predictive magic here by taking the Eagles to win. The magic, if you aren’t aware, is that I am so often wrong. But with what happened to the Cowboys (sob), Philadelphia has an opportunity to seize the division and stay in the hunt for the bye. I think that will motivate them to push their little tushies extra hard and eke out a close win.

David Howman: I picked the Seahawks to win this one before all the news about the Eagles’ turmoil came out. Seattle kept things close most of the game against the 49ers, even without Geno Smith in there, and it looks like Drew Lock will be going again. Philly has been so bad defensively that they’ve demoted their defensive coordinator and now Jalen Hurts might not play either. With this game in Seattle, I like the 12th man giving the Seahawks the edge they need to beat a very vulnerable Eagles team, something like 24-20.

Brian Martin: I went against logic this week and decided to go with the Seahawks over the Eagles. Even without Geno Smith I like the way Seattle’s personnel matches up against Philadelphia’s. I really think this game could go either way, but I have a feeling the Seahawks can pull off the upset.

OCC: “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” The Cowboys lost, therefore the Eagles must lose.
