Mock drafts expect Joe Schoen to choose a wide receiver
LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers is the overwhelming choice for the New York Giants at No. 6 in our final mock draft tracker of the 2024 NFL Draft cycle.
Nabers was chosen in 47 of the 104 mock drafts (45.2%) used in this week’s tracker. Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze was the choice in 25 mocks (24%). Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was chosen in five mock drafts. That made an overwhelming 77 mock drafts (71.9%) in which a wide receiver was chosen first for the Giants.

Quarterbacks were chosen in 20 mock drafts (19.2%). J.J. McCarthy was the choice in 11 mock drafts, Jayden Daniels 5, Drake Maye 3 and Michael Penix Jr. 1.
Giants fans who voted in our pre-draft poll appear to disagree with the choice of Nabers. Instead, Odunze received the most support.
