Maria Sharapova is always active: she is a super mom who trains on the court in a goergeus black outfit. She was one of the most beautiful and strongest tennis players of the last twenty years, and paradoxically she said goodbye too soon to the WTA Tour.

The Russian tennis player became number 1 and won several Grand Slams from a very young age and at least initially seemed to be the main rival of the US champion Serena Williams.

Maria won 5 Grand Slams, triumphing in all four Grand Slam rounds, the last one at the Roland Garros back in 2014. However, physical problems held back Masha’s career and she was forced to retire, after several rounds, in far February 2020.

Now, Maria is facing a new life, she is a mother and is linked to the British entrepreneur Alexander Gilkes. She continues to keep fit and has repeatedly posted social photos and videos while she is busy doing fitness exercises or keeping fit by playing tennis.

Here is one of her Instagram Stories:

Sharapova’s last words

Sharapova talked in an interesting interview with the microphones of New Beauty and she released interesting statements: “The role of mother must arrive at a certain point in your life, I felt ready and to tell the truth it was something I’ve always dreamed of.

I have an excellent relationship with my mother, we are very close and we share a lot, we are related and this is also why I wanted to have a child so that I could share my experiences with him. I’m excited to see him grow and I’m learning new things too. Every day is a new day, there’s always something to learn and it’s a great challenge.

The sporty aspect is also very demanding, it keeps you grounded every day. Tennis was something I wanted to do every week, beyond winning and losing. I always had to reinvent myself and challenge myself and I just didn’t feel comfortable. I don’t know if it’s more difficult being a tennis player or a mother, let’s just say both roles are very demanding.”
