Despite the discussions, the departure of the English international remains plausible. PSG and its president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi have expressed their interest in the player by submitting a proposal to him. The Parisians are said to have mentioned a contract with a salary of 455,000 euros per week, much higher than what Manchester United were planning to offer him, the club having to rebalance its accounts to respect the rules of financial fair play.
