Tonight on Dynamite, AEW confirmed that Omega will be making his first appearance on May 1 since being hospitalized with diverticulitis after the Dec. 13 Dynamite.
It would be a noteworthy announcement under any circumstances, but it’s especially interesting considering how this week’s show ended. The Young Bucks kicked Omega out of The Elite when they welcomed Kazuchika Okada into the group last month. On the latest Dynamite, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson welcomed Jack Perry into the fold and took out AEW’s head honcho Tony Khan. Then they cut a promo after the show explaining their actions, and declaring, “This is the best version of The Elite!”

Will Kenny stand up to his ex-mates? And if he does, will he end being written off for surgery?
We’ll find out next week in Winnipeg, on a show that will also feature Chris Jericho defending the recently renamed FTW title against HOOK’s pal Katsuyori Shibata.
