Josh Alexander and Alexander Hammerstone battled in a pair of super fights. Alexander won round one. Hammerstone cheated to even the score. The rubber match was contested under Last Man Standing rules at TNA Rebellion (Apr. 20, 2024). There could only be one Alexander standing tall in the end.

The trilogy bout was a physical affair with powerful strikes and heavy suplexes. It basically boiled down to two moments. Hammerstone had his best shot at victory on an avalanche Nightmare Pendulum onto tacks. Alexander barely made it his feet to beat the ten-count. He wisely rolled out of the ring in the nick of time to land standing upright.

For the finish, Alexander surged with momentum. He suplexed Hammerstone on stage then executed a C4 spike piledriver. The referee made his count. At 9, Hammer was rising, but he stumbled back down to lose the match.

Backstage, Alexander reflected on his Last Man Standing victory. The best don’t mess. Alexander’s heart is his identity. He doesn’t know how to stay down.
