Jets 2024 schedule shaping up to be favorable

At least the oddsmakers think the schedule will be easy.

The NFL is set to release its 2024 schedule next week with a long TV extravaganza. That will only provide us with the dates and times of the games. We know the 17 opponents every team will face in the upcoming season.

For the Jets, things could be lining up favorably per our friends at DraftKings.

Of course the obvious caveat is that none of us can see into the future.

At this point of the year most of the prognosticating about easy or difficult schedules is based on the previous year’s winning percentage of the opponents. In a league where there is little consistency on a season to season basis, those predictions frequently fall flat.

While oddsmakers aren’t perfect, their projections are at least forward facing and factor in things like offseason moves and players returning from injury.

At least from this standpoint, the Jets could benefit from a favorable allotment of games.
