The Jaguars have added a weapon to Trevor Lawrence’s arsenal in Brian Thomas Jr. How would you grade the pick?

Jaguars fans… how would you grade the team’s selection of Brian Thomas Jr. at 23rd overall?

It’s never a bad thing when Trevor Lawrence is named a “winner” after Jacksonville makes a move. That was the case last night after the Jaguars selected Thomas Jr., the fourth receiver off the board. He led the country in receiving touchdowns last year (17) playing with fellow first-round picks Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers at LSU.

I do wonder about the fit in Jacksonville. Thomas Jr. seems like an upgraded version of recently-signed Gabe Davis as a deep threat with impressive speed/size traits; they’re both better as straight-line movers on the sideline than agile separators across the middle of the field. Then again, Doug Pederson’s Super Bowl-winning Eagles rostered Torrey Smith and Alshon Jeffrey.
