Mortal Kombat 1 is been one of the most fun fighting game releases of the last year, and fans can unlock even more content starting today. Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch drops have been activated in-game. These are going to be an opportunity to unlock free cosmetics just for tuning into a stream.
Twitch drops are a pretty regular occurrence across games. Most genres have a few titles which often get fresh batches of content through the platform, these can be skins, in-game items, or even free full games through Twitch. They’re basically rewards that are handed out for engaging with a game on Twitch. Fighting games aren’t the most associated with the drops so far though. Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch Drops – What’s Available?
The new batch of Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch drops are a chance to get some exclusive items, what’s available though? There are full skins on offer for Ashrah, Baraka, and Scorpion. If you’re maining any of these characters, then this is a great opportunity to widen out your wardrobe.
These new drops are available widely. If you tune into any Mortal Kombat 1 streamer with drops enabled, you can get the chance to unlock them. You’ll just need to have your account hooked up to ensure the drops end up in the right place. They’re only available for a limited time though. You have until April 29th to unlock everything!
It’s also worth keeping in mind the Mortal Kombat 1 Twitch drops aren’t working on every platform. For some reason, the Nintendo Switch version of the game isn’t getting them. Although, MK 1 is hardly one of the best Switch fighting games, lacking quite a bit of functionality. So, this isn’t the biggest loss. Everyone else will be able to unlock the Twitch drops over the coming days.
