Harry Kane more than ever in the history of Tottenham. This Sunday, for the clash of the 22nd day of the Premier League between Spurs and the reigning double English champion, Manchester City (to be followed live on our live commentary), the 29-year-old striker opened the scoring from the 15th minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A 19th achievement since the start of the season with a special flavor for the captain of the Three Lions. The Tottenham No. 10 has indeed become the top scorer in the history of the London club with 267 goals (in 416 appearances).
Harry Kane therefore erases shelves Jimmy Greaves, whose counter remained stuck at 266 achievements in the jersey of Spurs. Kane, who continues to panic the counters even if he has still not won anything with his training club, will however have to whip to catch up with his compatriot. Greave remains the top scorer in the history of the English championship (357 goals), while the serial “scorer” of Spurs has just reached, at the same time, the bar of 200 achievements in the Premier League. Only Alan Shearer (260 goals in 306 games) and Wayne Rooney (208 goals in 462 games) have done better since the creation of the PL in 1992.
