Fortnite TMNT Crossover Event to Come with Event Pass

A new Fortnite event is coming soon! What exactly is it though? Looking at leaks and the new timer that’s appeared in-game, we’ can deduce just what’s coming next. A Fortnite TMNT event as a full crossover will be launching very soon, to see us through the end of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. What is this new event and what’s up with the new tab on the Fortnite home screen?

Logging into the game since the latest Fortnite update, players had a bit of a surprise waiting for them. A new tab has been added to the home page. Similar to past overarching events, there’s a whole section waiting for a new event pass to drop. It seems to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. We’ve already had the main skins added to the store, so why is a new Fortnite TMNT crossover being teased and what can we expect?

Teaser Tab – Event Pass Coming for Fortnite TMNT Crossover

The new tab on the Fortnite home page indicates we’re getting a full crossover event soon. This will mean a new event pass. essentially a miniature version of the Battle Pass, where players can unlock cosmetics or a free skin if they purchase the premium tier. We’ve even got a countdown to the launch of the event, it’s coming later this week.

The new crossover is part of a full Fortnite TMNT event, but what’s left to include? We’ve already had the four main Turtles and April. However, recent Fortnite leaks have shown off a Shredder skin coming to the game. We can probably expect this to be the new skin included in the event pass.

Along with that, there’s some unused content from their original release that might be coming too. This includes new Mythics as Ninja Turtle like attacks, along with a new POI located in the sewers of the map. Despite having the caption underground, the current Fortnite season hasn’t actually had accessible sewers. They’ve just been a warp point. Adding this leaked POI in with the Fortnite TMNT crossover would finally deliver on this.

April O’Neil Investigates

Along with a new crossover being teased, the last update included a bit of a prelude. There is a set of new quests in the game. These cover April O’Neil investigating the appearance of some mysterious underground Turtles. These are fairly simple quests, all done around the April O’Neil NPC location. Head to the underground to get these completed. These initial quests are a fun teaser, and we’re going to see the full TMNT Fortnite crossover start up very soon.
