Fortnite mini-Battle Passes could become a part of the Crew Pack

on

Each Fortnite Mini Battle Pass has been very prominent in the game. Most collaborations, such as the Avatar crossover from a few weeks ago are available now. There have been shorter battle passes with loads of quests for Star Wars, Avatar, and TMNT. There will presumably be more in the future, as they’re very popular and get people to spend a little bit of their V-Bucks to make sure they get the better rewards. As a result of that, Fortnite is reportedly mulling a big change to the mini pass system.

Fortnite Mini Battle Passes May Be Added to Crew

Notable leaker ShiinaBR recently revealed that Epic Games asked players via one of their surveys if each and every pass should come with the Crew Pack subscription. The Crew Pack already grants the battle pass along with 1,000 V-Bucks and a skin (plus styles for old Crew Pack skins) every single month. It’s possible that the subscription that includes all Fortnite Mini Battle Passes could be more expensive.

The leaker also noted that this would not solely include Mini Passes. Those are the headliners because they’re usually more popular, but there are other passes. This new and improved Crew subscription would potentially also include the Festival Pass and LEGO Pass as well. Rocket Racing also sometimes has passes, so that would presumably be lumped in as well. All of it would come for one easy monthly payment.

Fortnite often honors what players ask for in surveys. So, if the response is positive, it’s probable that this will be added to the game eventually. If it does, expect a new tier of the Crew subscription to be introduced, but there’s another key change that would likely have to happen. Fortnite would need to introduce more passes. If players are subscribing to get the passes for an extra monthly payment, they would likely need to get more than two or three passes in a four-month or so span.

Mini Passes would likely be part of every single collaboration going forward, which would probably be a very profitable decision for Epic Games. It might cost Fortnite players more, though. However, there’s undoubtedly interest in getting all of these passes already, so why not make it easier on everyone?
