The saga of Ric Flair and Piesanos continues…

One day after footage leaked online of a seemingly inebriated Flair being asked to leave the Florida restaurant over the weekend, both the WWE Hall of Famer and Piesanos’ owner have once again spoken about the incidents he first complained about on social media.

Flair told the Gainesville Sun more of his side of the story, which involves a kitchen manager approaching him in the bathroom and then lingered in a stall “texting away” after the Nature Boy asked for privacy:

“I’m like, I don’t shake hands or take photos in bathrooms. Any man that goes into a bathroom knows you can see into the stall. I said, ‘Get your a— off there, I need to use the restroom.’”

A female employee then allegedly approached Flair after he exited the restroom and called him a “creep” and a “peeping Tom.” Of that, he told the paper:

“I’m not going to tolerate that and you wouldn’t either … That’s a pretty offensive remark.”

All of this was before Flair approached Piesanos’ manager, which is the exchange captured in the video posted anonymously yesterday. Of the footage, Naitch said:

“I’ll be quite honest with you, I was pissed because I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s my word against the kitchen employee and it makes no sense. I admit to everything I said. I have no problem with it because I was mad.”

Piesanos co-owner Jerry Roberts was unmoved by the amount of money Flair spent at the restaurant or how generous of a tipper he was:

“It was really a matter of principle on how our team was treated and no matter how much money someone’s willing to spend, if they’re not going to treat our team with respect, we just felt like that was the right thing to do.

“The video that has now been leaked by somebody else speaks for itself.”

For his part, Flair says he’s considering taking legal action against Piesanos. Or…

“I have the money to buy the restaurant. It’ll be called Ric Flair’s Italian Bistro.”
