Felix, who has fallen beyond 30th position in the ATP ranking, analyzed what led him to end his collaboration with Rafael Nadal’s uncle, also announcing his new coach.
“My coach, Frédéric Fontang, has been here since the start of the tournament, and with him my physiotherapist and a dear friend of mine, while Toni is at home. We are still in contact with Toni, but he is currently no longer an active part of my team. Auger Aliassime then announced a new addition to his team: “My father is traveling with us very often and this makes me very happy. He has always been close to me this year. In the indoors events he was with me, in Monte Carlo and in Monaco the same.
So my father has been very helpful to me, and he will be there at the French Open. It’s also the reason I play tennis. family always gives you a little extra strength. Having him close to me on a daily basis and being able to talk to him on a daily basis is certainly very important to me,” he added.
