Two titles in the schedule are marked TBA, and at present, it’s not known if those spots will be filled with new games or repeats of something already featured. For instance, Call of Duty isn’t making an appearance (yet) at the Esports World Cup, despite being a leading game in the space – nor is VALORANT.
Saudi Arabia has been making waves in the esports space for a couple of years. From announcing plans to build entire cities dedicated to gaming to revealing billion-dollar investment funds poised to disrupt the esports industry, the country has been at the forefront of the esports-focused news feeds for a while. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no doubt that Saudi Arabia is doing it bigger than anyone right now, and that visibility is only a good thing for esports fans worldwide.
