Welcome back white facemask on the helmet and logo

The history of the Cleveland Browns is something that fans hold onto dearly. The greatest fanbase in all of the NFL, Browns fans care deeply about a franchise that hasn’t shown the love back, especially on the field, in a few decades.

Whether it is tailgating hours before games, selling out the stadium despite losing record after losing record or learning as much as they can about all 90 men on the training camp roster, Cleveland fans are different.

So is the Browns helmet. Without a logo, the clean orange helmet with the “Oreo” stripe has been a point of pride for fans. There was even a little pushback when the team announced the white helmet in honor of the original ones worn.

This year, it has been rumored that the white facemask would be returning after getting a glimpse of it in games recently. Cleveland legend Eric Metcalf may have just leaked the photos of the new helmet and coinciding logo:

Update:

Metcalf deleted his tweets but we grabbed the screenshots:

With the switch back to the white facemask, the logo needed to be changed as well as you can see on the box in Metcalf’s picture.

Now that you see the new helmet in all its glory, how do you feel about the return of the white facemask?
