Detroit Lions remaining Day 3 draft picks, estimated time of selections

What picks do the Detroit Lions have on Day 3 and when will those picks be announced? We break it all down here.

The Detroit Lions enter Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft with four picks to go. It’s been a modest draft for the Lions, selecting just two players in the first three rounds of the draft. For comparison’s sake, they took six players in the first three rounds last year, four in the previous year, and four in Brad Holmes’ first draft back in 2021.

But Holmes has done an impressive job on Day 3 historically, and he’ll have plenty of swings at the bat Saturday afternoon.

Here’s a reminder of Detroit’s remaining picks on Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft:

• Round 5, Pick 29 (164 overall)
• Round 6, Pick 25 (201 overall)
• Round 6, Pick 29 (205 overall)
• Round 7, Pick 29 (249 overall)

Detroit’s fourth-round pick was traded away as part of the T.J. Hockenson trade, while the Lions’ bonus sixth-round pick is from the Carlton Davis trade earlier this offseason.

Day 3 of the NFL Draft is the longest of the weekend. The picks start rolling in at Noon ET and should run through 7 p.m. ET Saturday night.
